Dr. Fulks truly loves being a part of Marquette and the greater Upper Peninsula community, which is why when he’s away from the office, he does his best to make the area a better place for everyone. That’s why he frequently donates his time and effort to several worthwhile organizations (detailed below). Basically, if it’s for a good cause and helps Marquette, you can bet that Dr. Fulks and our team are involved in one way or another!
Nutrition has a big impact on both oral and overall health, which is why we sponsor the “Power of Produce” program at the Downtown Marquette Farmers Market. Its goal is to help children learn about healthy and sustainable food. For 10 weeks, kids are able to attend short classes and are also given money to spend at the market so they learn to start making healthy choices on their own.
As any resident of Marquette will tell you, it’s truly a beautiful place, and one of the best ways to experience it is to bike, run, or hike our extensive network of community trails. The Marquette Trails Fest is an opportunity for the community to come together and help raise funds for these trails while also enjoying a variety of fun events and races. Our practice is currently a gold sponsor, and we even have a booth you can visit in the vendor area. Be sure to come by and say hello!
As part of the July 4th weekend, the Superior Arts Youth Theater (SAYT) is putting on a 1-mile kid’s fun run where everyone is invited to dress up as their favorite super hero (or villain, we don’t judge!). We are proud to be a title sponsor for this event, and you’ll even be able to find us in the middle of the action at our booth.
